There is Mert. He came from Istanbul. As with many of our patients, we sat down with Mert, performed the examination, and moved on to the design stage. Then, during the design, I explained to Mert how we would do this procedure, whether we would perform structural rhinoplasty or preservative procedures, and the reasons why. Our concern here is not for Mert to go and do this himself, right? He is dealing with a different profession. But if I explain it to Mert clearly in a way he understands and if I take very good notes about it, then even if I operate on Mert ten years later, when I review those notes and see the plan that I have thoroughly internalized, simplified, and clarified, I will first explain to myself what I am doing and why during the surgery. And at the same time, I will be explaining it to Mert. Because if a person knows what will happen to them and why it is being done, that is when they endure it best. That is why this design stage is very important. It is a process done to strengthen communication and to secure and guarantee the success of the surgery. With love, we say goodbye. Goodbye, İstiklal neighborhood is closing.
