Prof. Dr. Tevfik Sözen/Nose Aesthetics Q&A/SHOULD THE FILLERS IN THE NOSE BE DISSOLVED BEFORE RHINOPLASTY?

I am Tevfik Sözen, welcome to my video where I answer the questions you send. There are very nice questions. Some are directly to the point. Some are a bit broad in scope, and some are truly in the form of idea flights. We eliminated the idea flights. We will shoot a separate video for those. We are listening to you as well, but those will be slightly more cheerful videos. Most likely, we are starting with the ones that are to the point. So, should nasal filler be dissolved before rhinoplasty? Nasal filler, under-eye filler, chin filler, many fillers have been done quite frequently recently. If a person has filler in the nose before nasal surgery, I prefer to dissolve it. But I especially prefer to dissolve fillers placed in the radix area. Fillers at the tip already come up during the operation and I remove them. The answer to the question: fillers may be dissolved or may not be dissolved. It can vary depending on where it is and what filler it is. Sometimes fillers that cannot be dissolved are also used. In that case, it needs to be removed during the operation anyway. It is necessary to have surgery with physicians who are knowledgeable about fillers and can recognize filler-related procedures in surgery. Of course, these are procedures that need to be done by experienced people in the field.
